Ray Leger with Roy Rogers
on
the day Roy took delivery of his new Power Cat. This shot was at
the plant in Bellflower, Ca. Roy and Ray were strong competitors
in SoCal boat racing in the early 50's. Roy owned a major
interest
in the Yellow Jacket Boat Co. and when the Power Cats began racing they
soon become dominant, much to Yellow Jacket's displeasure.
Roy and Ray became friends thru boat racing and Roy agreed to do some
promotional
photo's for Power Cat, many that follow in these pages.
