Marv and his brother bought this wood Cheetah and the blue
15c shown above from the Knutson family, who had owned these
boats
since purchased originally. Marv has restored this
Cheetah back to a running usable boat that the 3 generations
of his family are
now able to use. His brother is in the process of
restoring the 15c. Marv's grandfather owned the Power
Cat 18c as shown below and
their family has always wanted to own another. With
this restoration they now own the only known survivor of one
of these
all wood boats as made by Power Cat in the 1950's. I
am personally very glad that this rare example has landed
with a
family with a rich Power Cat tradition, and that it is once
again on the water and having fun !! Danny Leger.
