Power Cat 1961 18dc w/ Chrysler 125
I
acquired this boat from a neighbor in 2005 and began
the restoration with a new and complete re-glassing of
the restoration with a new and complete re-glassing of
the
hull, port, and starboard sides. Next came the paint
and new trim. Then new floor boards were made and glassed.
After the engine was tuned and detailed ( Chrysler 125), we
added new carpet, 2 new gas tanks, a 2 battery system with selector switch,
2 captain's chairs, radio and speakers, tach and speedometer,
compass and last, comfy naugahyde covered foam duel pads for the cabin.
The boat handles well and is completely water tight. It has been totally
reliable since the restoration. Last used April of 2021.
It has a cover and trailer with good tires and spare.
Currently I would say some TLC and face lift would make this 1961 Power Cat a real head turner.
Not sure what to price this at. I know I have way more invested in the boat than I can
expect to recover, so make an offer..
